Our activity will be on Thursday October 11th @ 7:00 p.m.
"TED Talks" is the nature of our evening which can be defined as "ideas worth spreading". A few quick little "talks" just to peek your interest. We are having 5 short, fun, informative sessions on a variety of things, including healthy green smoothies, Yoga, a craft, tips from a hair stylist, and essential oils. We will meet in the gym. And of course yummy refreshments after! See you there!
Here's the Recipe and directions for the craft we demo'd this evening....
Dough: 4 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1 1/2 cups warm water.
Mix ingredients, knead with hands like bread dough.
Roll out to 1/8 inch thick, roll with rubber stamp, cut to desired shape, poke a hole in the shape for a tie/ribbon.
Bake at 325F for about an hour or until hard.
Let cool and paint with high-gloss acrylic paint.
Great as an ornament, gift tag, etc.
