Family Home Evening

May 17 - Thursday @ 7:00 p.m.
This evening will be all about Family Home Evening: where to find FHE recources, lesson ideas, and of course we will have FHE type refreshments too!

We will be making FHE Idea Jars to help make monday night lessons quick and easy, with ideas for all ages, even adults. If you already have an FHE system that works for you, then you can make a "service jar" or a "kindness jar" for your family to use. We will be using scrapbook paper to make labels for the jars. We will have a variety of paper to choose from, but if you have a specific color scheme you want feel free to bring your own paper and scrapbook supplies to decorate how you want. Bring your own scissors and/or a paper cutter if you can! We will be supplying tins/jars. See you there.

We will be making something similar to this, we will be using empty formula tins with the plastic lid or #10 cans)

And here are the FHE idea strips to put in the tin. One is more for small children and the other is for older kids and adults. Lots of these ideas were taken from a website (that I will post later - I can't seem to find the website again) and the rest are thanks to some of the ladies on our activity committee!  - okay, so if you want these please email me at jocelynhm@shaw.ca and I will email them to you because I can't figure out how to attach a PDF, sorry.
