Relief Society Preparedness Night

Thursday, February 16th @ 7:00 p.m.
in the Relief Society room

We will be learning about making emergency plans for our families. We will also be putting together simple "Car Kits". If you plan on attending our activity and you would like to put together a “Car Kit” for your family please sign up. Sign up sheets will be going around on sundays.

It should be a fun and informative night. And of course there will be refreshments too. Hope to see you all there!

January 21st Stake Service Activity

As was announced the following information is important for the upcoming Stake Service day on Saturday the 21st!


For those who signed up to sew, if we need you to bring a sewing machine or serger you will be contacted.
If you aren’t contacted there will be other things for you to do.

For those making pies please bring a rolling pin, a paring knife or an apple peeler.

For those signed up to cut material please bring a pair of scissors for sure and pins if you need.

For those signed up for Blankets Canada, we will be tying quilts instead of knitting or crocheting as you might have been told.
They have a shortage of yarn and haven’t been able to make many squares.

If you knitted or crocheted slippers please bring them that day or get them to a member of your Relief Society presidency.

The Service Day is from 10am Till 2pm with lunch being served!! Hope to see you all there!!

Stake Relief Society - Day of Service

Saturday, January 21st, 2012

10a.m. - 2p.m.

We will be sewing Pajama Pants, Drawstring Shoulder Bags, and making Meat Pies that only requires your "willing hands & willing hearts!"

There will be sign up sheets going around on Sundays so the stake has an idea of how many will be coming to help in the different areas.
These areas include:
-Basic level sewing (do you have a sewing machine or serger you are willing to bring?) -Cutting out material (bring your own scissors)
-Ironing/Pressing
-Quilts for Canada
-Pie Making (bring your own rolling pin)
Please still sign up at the bottom if you plan on coming but don't know which area you want to help with, just so we have an idea of how many plan to attend.

Luncheon at noon!

*The Meat Pies will be distributed to our wards for compassionate service.
