Service Project Opportunities

For our Relief Society Weekday Meeting this month, we are focusing on SERVICE.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is commemorating 75 years of the Church Welfare Plan. For more information visit the www.lds.org Welfare 75th Aniversary web page by clicking here.

We will be meeting June 16th at 7pm at the church to complete our exciting service projects.

We are asking for donations of a few items for this evening, which can be collected on Sunday, June 5th and 12th during Relief Society.  You can also contact Kim Earl to arrange a pick-up of your donation of the following items:

- fabric (any kind, juvenile or youth prints, plaids, solids, feminine prints, etc.)
- quilt batting (does not have to be large pieces, as we can piece them)
- good condition blankets or quilts (any size)
- new pillows and pillow cases
- scrap-booking supplies (paper, stickers, ribbon, etc.) (also if you have stamps or punches that can be borrowed for the evening that would be appreciated)
- good condition books for toddlers, children, youth
- good condition toys for toddlers, children, youth
- good condition backpacks

The success of our evening will be possible because of your generosity!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kim Earl or any member of the Relief Society Committee.

Thank you very much!
