Sew with Sue

As Relief Society Sisters we share responsibility of caring for the temporal needs of our families. We live in a world that has become expensive and often times is a strain on our pocket book. There are many reasons for us to look back to basic skills such as sewing that helps support ourselves and our families. We want to share with you an opportunity to further your sewing skills in a number of ways. Sue Secretan is offering instruction for easy, inexpensive sewing projects that will help build confidence and further your skills that will in turn help meet the temporal needs of your family. This can be done in a variety of ways no matter what your skill level is. There will be help on basic mending, altering current clothing, small inexpensive gifts ideas, or maybe you just need another hand and ear to assist on a current project you are working on. This opportunity can be offered as group sessions or on an individual basis either in Sue’s home or at the Church. If you don’t have your own sewing machine the Heritage Ward Relief Society owns two that may be used at the church and Sue has two extra machines that can be used in her home. If you would like to take advantage of this fun learning opportunity call Sue at home.
